Rahul Bajaj, Founder of Golf Garage, is one of India's most accomplished golf coaches, combining over two decades of competitive and coaching experience at the highest levels of the game.
A former professional golfer, Rahul represented India internationally for four years as a member of the National Team. His playing career includes winning a Silver Medal at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China, along with three National Championship titles and also a SAF Games Silver Medal in 2010. After turning professional, he competed for seven years on the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), Asian Tour, Asian Development Tour (ADT), and MENA Tour before dedicating himself to coaching the next generation of golfers.
Committed to continuous learning and delivering world-class coaching, Rahul holds a Class 'A' Golf Coach certification from the National Golf Academy of India (NGAI), where he also serves as a member of the teaching faculty. His qualifications include TrackMan Level 2, Swing Catalyst Level 2, Smart2Move Biomechanics Level 2, and Stack & Tilt Network Instructor certifications. Understanding that great golf extends beyond technique, Rahul is also certified in The Mind Factor by renowned performance coach Dr. Karl Morris, enabling him to help players develop the mental skills required to perform under pressure.
Today, Rahul coaches some of India's leading junior and professional golfers. His students include former India's No. 1 amateur golfer, who progressed to No. 3 on the PGTI Order of Merit before earning full playing status on the Asian Tour. He continues to work with professionals competing on the PGTI and IGPL, while also mentoring some of the country's most promising young talent—from beginners as young as eight years old to multiple National Champions across various junior age categories.
Rahul's coaching philosophy is built around long-term athlete development, combining technical excellence, biomechanics, performance analytics, physical preparation, and mental conditioning into a structured pathway for every golfer. Every player is coached with an individualized plan designed around their goals, ability, and stage of development.
His long-term vision is to establish one of India's premier junior golf academies and a world-class high-performance training centre that develops golfers capable of competing and winning at the highest level. Rahul firmly believes that Indian golfers possess the talent to succeed on the PGA Tour, win Major Championships, and bring home medals at the Olympic Games and Asian Games when supported by the right coaching, environment, and mentorship.
