FIND YOUR GROOVE

CNC milled grooves, including the groove edge radius, take us to the legal limit in the name of spin and ball control. Milled grooves have been designed to yield the maximum amount of spin on shorter shots near the green while optimizing spin on longer shots from the fairway.

HIGH-GRADE MATERIALS

PXG 0311 Wedges are triple forged using compressive forces from 8620 soft carbon steel. Forged materials, having a tight grain structure, resonate differently than cast materials which adds to an outstanding impact experience.

WEIGHTING  TECHNOLOGY

PXG’s proprietary weighting system features lightweight titanium and heavier tungsten weights to optimize mass properties such as CG location and MOI.

HIGH-TOE WEIGHTING

High toe weighting draws the CG higher and more towards the center of the club head. This helps increase spin and improves playability on open face chip and pitch shots.

VERSATILE SOLE DESIGN

PXG 0311 Forged Wedges present a traditional and versatile sole design that performs very well from all types of grass and conditions. Tapering the sole aggressively from heel to toe and positioning tungsten weights along the perimeter increases the MOI. A narrower heel section effectively decreases the bounce, allowing the golf club head to slip under the ball more easily.
